Sales edition
This week: your CRM talks back, your lead scoring learns from your own deals, and your notes email themselves.
HubSpot now lets Claude write back to your CRM: fewer fields to fill in, more time for calls
Create tasks, update deal stages, and log conversations directly from your AI assistant, without ever leaving the tool.
In August 2026, HubSpot launched a two-way connection with Anthropic Claude. Until now, AI could only read your CRM. Claude can now create tasks, update a deal stage, log a call, and even build a landing page in HubSpot. In practice: you talk to your assistant and the admin lands automatically in the right place in your pipeline.
Background for subscribersHubSpot and Calendly are taking more and more admin off your plate. Claude updates your CRM after a conversation. Calendly sends the follow-up email. Lead scoring tells you who to call first. That is minutes per deal you win back, every day. Use that time for the customer contact that no tool can ever replace.
HubSpot lead scoring now learns from your own closed deals
In August 2026, HubSpot introduced lead scoring that looks at your own historical conversion data. Using the 'Discover AI rules' button, you can see which past interactions moved leads towards a deal, including conversion rates and suggested point values. You can add those rules to your score with a single click.
