Why this matters now
Since February 2025, organisations that use AI have to take measures. Those measures must help their employees become AI literate. That's written into the AI Act, Article 4.
Employers don't have to guarantee a set level. That doesn't make the law less important. AI changes every week. A course from last year is already out of date. Keeping up isn't a one-off moment. It's a habit.

You see how many colleagues take part and how far along they are, per team. You never see what someone personally reads or writes. For teams with fewer than three active participants we leave the progress out, because otherwise it traces back to one person.

Not just keeping up, learning to apply it
Alongside the weekly edition there's a Learning curve: short lessons that teach you, step by step, to use AI in your work. Everyone's progress is tracked.
What you should and should not type in
Whatever you type or paste into an AI tool is sent to a company, often based abroad. With many free tools, that information can be used to train their system further. For a general question, that is usually fine. But trade secrets, client details, salaries or confidential plans do not belong there. Copilot inside your work Microsoft 365 account is usually better protected than a random free tool. But that is only true if your employer has set it up that way. A free chatbot in your browser is a very different thing.
Do this: Make a short list for yourself: what is “safe to share” (general questions, public information) and what is “only in our own, protected tool” (client names, figures, internal documents). Keep it nearby when you are not sure.
