What is Gemini?

Gemini is Google's AI, usable as a chatbot and woven into Google services like Gmail and Docs.

Gemini is Google's answer to ChatGPT and Copilot. You can use it as a standalone chat window, and it turns up more and more in Gmail, Docs and the search results. It can write text, summarize and answer questions. Like the other tools, it runs on a large AI model.

What this means for you

If you use Google for work, Gemini will cross your path on its own. The approach is much like the other assistants.
