HubSpot updates your CRM for you. GPT-6 gives your customer charts and buttons. AI already accounts for 5.3% of visits to business websites.
HubSpot records your calls for you, so your CRM updates itself
HubSpot's Smart CRM, the system that holds your customer details, records calls, emails and meetings for you. The new release continues as a public beta throughout October. That is a test version that is not yet finished.
HubSpot's new autumn release continues as a public beta throughout October. That is a test version that is not yet finished. The main feature is Smart CRM. A CRM is a system for keeping track of customer details, deals and appointments. Smart CRM records calls, emails and meetings for you. So you have less to enter yourself after an appointment. AI agents work on top of this system. An AI agent is artificial intelligence that carries out a task itself, rather than just answering questions. The Prospecting Agent tracks more than 40 buying signals. These are signs that a customer may want to buy. The Campaign Agent creates a full campaign plan based on a goal. There is also a Nurture Agent. We do not yet know exactly what it does.
The information recorded by the CRM is the basis for the agents. The more complete and accurate that information is, the better they work. If the system records something incorrectly, the agents may repeat that error. We do not yet know how accurate the system is, what it costs or which subscription you need.
HubSpot chief executive Yamini Rangan said something striking. According to Rangan, AI has made work three times heavier rather than easier. More agents can also mean more suggestions for you to check. HubSpot's agents use credits. These are a balance for AI use. Older CRM cards must also be transferred by 31 October.
Do you work with HubSpot? Then it may help to check with your administrator this week whether the old CRM cards will be transferred in time.
Background for subscribersThese stories show that AI is increasingly recording customer information, comparing providers and sending messages. This can save time. It also means you will check more often what the system does and what data it uses. Who checks the automatic invoice reminders, and which AI tools are safe for customer data, are good questions for your team. Clear prices and terms make things easier for customers and their assistants.
GPT-6 in ChatGPT: your customer gets charts and buttons instead of only text
OpenAI began rolling out GPT-6 in ChatGPT on 7 October. Paying users with Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise got GPT-6 Sol. Users on the free version and Go followed on 8 October. They get the smaller GPT-6 Luna. A new feature is Intelligent UI. ChatGPT can now show answers with charts, buttons, forms and diagrams. It can also include small tools, such as a calculator or a breakdown of costs. OpenAI says more than 1.2 billion people use ChatGPT each week. So your customer will also see a different, more interactive screen. The model starts answering while it is still thinking. According to OpenAI, this makes the wait 44% shorter for questions where ChatGPT searches the internet. This is compared with GPT-5.6 Instant. A chart can look reliable even when the figures are wrong. Want to see what your customer sees? You could ask ChatGPT a question about your market this week and look at how the visuals show your price and position.
