Copilot in Outlook: change one part of your email, not the whole thing

Select a paragraph and let Copilot make just that bit shorter or friendlier.

This month, Microsoft is rolling out a handy update in Outlook. You can now select part of a draft email and ask Copilot to change only that part: shorter, friendlier, or restructured. The rest of your email stays as it is. Also new: you can add Outlook emails as a source in Copilot Notebooks, so the content of those emails is automatically included in your project notes.

What this means for you
A proper email faster, without redoing everything

Stuck with an email where one paragraph is too long or too sharp? Select just that paragraph and ask Copilot to make it shorter or friendlier. Leave the rest alone. Read the result once more before sending, because the tone might come out slightly different than you intended.

Copilot can now watch your screen: Vision

In July, Microsoft is rolling out 'Vision' for Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can share your screen or let your phone camera look along while you talk to Copilot out loud. The assistant looks at what's there, for example a dashboard or an error message, and explains what you're seeing and what your next steps could be. The feature is gradually becoming available to people with a Copilot licence.
