Marketing edition
This week: AI that builds your design inside ChatGPT, sharper images in Photoshop, and new rules your brand needs to watch.
Canva now works directly inside ChatGPT
Create, edit and translate designs without leaving your AI chat.
Canva now supports creating designs from within ChatGPT. In a conversation, you can generate, view, edit and translate a Canva design. It works with Canva's Brand Kit, so with your own colours, fonts and style. For social posts, presentations, adverts and campaign visuals, that saves time. The integration is available for users with a ChatGPT Plus or Team subscription.
Background for subscribersYou create a visual for Instagram, LinkedIn and your newsletter in one chat, in your own colours and font. Handy for quickly placing variants side by side. But the tool picks the average result if you do not steer it. Give it your brand voice, choose yourself which version actually goes out, and check the tone of the text before you publish.
Adobe buys Topaz Labs: sharper images in Photoshop and Premiere
Adobe is acquiring Topaz Labs, a company strong in AI image enhancement: upscaling, sharpening, removing noise and restoring images. This technology may soon appear in Firefly, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro. For designers and video makers, AI content could become sharper and more professional automatically.
