Free ChatGPT now gives you unlimited access to the Luna model
OpenAI is opening the door a bit wider for people who do not want to pay for a subscription, or cannot.
OpenAI has updated ChatGPT. Free users can now chat without limits with the Luna model. Paying users get an improved Sol model that answers more precisely and makes fewer mistakes. There is also a new slider that lets you choose how much the model thinks per answer.
Background for subscribersUse that unlimited free access to test yourself on your material, not to have your report written for you. Ask Luna to pose questions and give hints, then explain the material back yourself. That way you really remember it. And first check whether your school already offers a tool for free through your student account, because then you often do not need to install or pay anything at all.
Gemini in Google Classroom makes flashcards and practice quizzes from your material
From 10 August 2026, pupils and students of all ages can use Gemini in Google Classroom, if their school gives access to it. Through the Gemini tab you turn your material into flashcards and practice quizzes that suit your class. Teachers can also have grading rubrics made automatically since 5 August.
