Copilot on your phone now also records meetings at the office, and it is on by default
The Copilot app on mobile records in-person conversations, transcribes them, and puts them in OneDrive. Handy, but the default setting needs your attention.
Microsoft has expanded the Copilot app on mobile. You can now record a conversation in the same room, without a laptop. The audio goes into your own OneDrive and is turned into text automatically. Note: this feature is on by default. For you as the linchpin at the office, that is exactly the thing to watch.
Background for subscribersYou are the safety net at the office. Agree on one simple rule this week: we only record a conversation if it is announced beforehand and everyone agrees. During a sick-leave or performance review, we record nothing. Turn off the recording feature on the phone if needed, so no one has it on by accident. That way you prevent trouble before it starts.
Copilot in SharePoint now makes a live dashboard from your list
Microsoft has rolled out a feature that lets you automatically create an overview from a SharePoint list or an Excel/CSV file. Think of a project status with filters on owner, priority, and deadline. The overview keeps updating with the data, so you do not have to build it again each time.
